PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya Barrackpore (Army) has started working from 1974. Later on in the year 1992 the school has been shifted to its own newly constructed building.
New building of Vidyalaya is situated on S.N. Banerjee Road , near Canontment Board Bus Stand, Barrackpore. Vidyalaya is about 3 KM from Barrackpore Railway Station. It is 4 section school consisting of SCIENCE, COMMERCE and HUMANITIES stream. School is now under the category of PM SHRI schools.
